Located in a rural setting surrounded by beautiful coastal mountains, Carmel Valley Veterinary Hospital has deep ties with the Carmel Valley community. Dr. Gerald Petkus established the hospital in 1962. Dr. James Holt joined the practice in 1974, and has been a partner since. Dr. Jeff Hogans joined the practice in 2000 upon Dr. Petkus' retirement. While much has changed in Carmel Valley during the last four decades, the hospital's commitment to providing comprehensive, state-of-the-art care for pets has remained constant.
Carmel Valley Veterinary Hospital is partnered with Harden Ranch Veterinary Hospital to provide the best care for your pet. Also owned by Dr. Hogans, Harden Ranch Veterinary Hospital features state-of-the-art services such as laser and laparoscopic surgery, ultrasound, endoscopy and more. Our veterinarians and staff work side by side with you to help keep your pet happy and healthy for years to come.
